Are you a Life & Crane Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? A global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, is seeking an experienced Lift & Crane Surveyor to join their team in London & Chelmsford. This role is home-based, with local daily travel to client sites. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of lifting equipment, in line with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations).


Key Responsibilities: Lift & Crane Surveyor

  • Conduct inspections on lifting equipment (MEWPS, HIABs, cranes, FLTs) to ensure regulatory compliance. 
  • Prepare and deliver inspection reports using advanced reporting tools. 
  • Advise clients on safety standards and regulatory changes. 
  • Maintain high health and safety standards during all inspections. 
  • Develop strong client relationships across various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, power, and more.


Key Requirements: Lift & Crane Surveyor

  • NVQ4, City & Guilds Level 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (relevant to Lift & Crane) is essential.
  • LEEA qualifications are preferred with relevant mechanical engineering experience. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the field. 
  • Clean UK driving license.
